to the Northampton Saints Supporters Club Web site - Proud to Support Northampton Saints Rugby Club. A mixed Season. FRom a fantistic Start, followed by a dip in form, during which we were a lost unable to buy a win at home, the club reached the final home game of the season, against a recently resurgent Sale, and duly reached the playoffs with a thumping 47-7 humiliation of Steve Diamond's team.

Minutes of the First SLG Meeting
The Saints Supporters Liaison Group (SSLG) is a discussion group that gives supporters the opportunity to raise issues and give feedback directly to club management.
While 'big picture' matters are covered in the Season Ticket Holder Forums and day-to-day queries dealt with in direct correspondence through the website's Get In Touch form, email or phone calls, the SSLG handles everything in between, from how best to encourage supporters to travel away, rewards and offers for Season Ticket Holders, and how best to enhance the match day experience and grow the Saints' fanbase.
The SSLG includes representatives from the Saints - Ell Bevan (director), Brian Facer (head of commercial operations) and Chris Wearmouth (communications manager) - as well as members of the Saints Supporters Club, ComeOnYouSaints.com and a representation of the club's Season Ticket Holder base.
We need to give feedback to the club soonest so that they can formulate concrete proposals for the next fans forum in January 2014

Supporters' Liason Group
The Saints Supporters' Club has been asked to publicise The SaintsSupporters' Liaison Group and to take part in it. This is an experiment, andis aimed at creating a dialogue between the Saints and its supporters.
The Supporters' Club representation consists of one Committee member and two other Club members. Other supporter representation comes from the
Comeonyousaints.com forum, Season Ticket Holders and Corporate sponsors.
The board sponsor is Ella Bevan and the group will be led by her, assistedby Brian Facer and Chris Wearmouth on behalf of the club management team. This group is NOT a decision making body, but is designed to provide adviceand be a sounding board on issues that the constituent members will bringforward. (For instance the whole subject of Associate Membership is one areathat we could see being a topic for discussion).
The group will meet 3 times a year, and will feed into the proposed SeasonTicket Forum, which it is intended will meet twice a year. Being a seasonticket holder is NOT a prerequisite for membership of this group. The scopeof the group's discussions is expected to cover all off-field activity, including pre and post-match events, away trips, visiting supporters'experiences and community events. It is intended that initially the term ofrepresentation will be 12 months.
If there are any issues that you would like the Saints Supporters Club toraise with the Liaison Group please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org, orphone on 07879-401047

The new Season has started with a bang, and a decisive win over Exeter Chiefs. As I write this (although the 1st week!) Saints are top of the table on points difference. Let us hope that the terrific start, and attitude and skills shown by the new-look squad is able to deliver on the early promise. There are some major happenings for the SSC this year, as we seek to raise our profile among the supporters. Look out for new activities and events through the yea, a ew look for our logo and posters around the town.
